Towards a new coordination... some proposals

Coordination of actions

Let's make the council more than “just a meeting.” Through the council we will improve the reality of the young workers in India ...and in your country. The council and the preparation process need to be a means of the action. We want to focus through the monograph continuously on the action – as a lived example of how the process of action is strengthened through coordination. We need to strengthen and develop our action in a practical way.

Make use of new technological means

Present the action monographs on the website in a dynamic way that will give an example of the process of developing an action and a means to get closer to the reality of the action. We need to make sure we are fully representative in our international web page – we need to show diversity of ycw's actions.
To make the actions more visible and motivate participation in communication about the action, to confront the action and to create interaction regarding the action.
To promote interaction through the website and internet chat for members of ycw and interested people, to promote the exchange of ideas.

Elections

Be the example – “live” co-ordination! During the international election process, speak with the candidates, motivate them to contribute and to face these challenges.

Discover other references

We need to discover other references in order to see how other international coordinations are working, in order to learn from them and see how we can apply some of these means in our own coordination.

I believe that if we are to have international co ordination which is also composed of mixed nationalities from different continents will also help for instance instead of having only Asians in ASPAC regional team we can have one from Africajoining that team and co odinating activities there which will minimise bias.
